At electronica virtual 2020, Electronic Specifier will be holding a digital forum program on cyber security as part of the digital trade fair on November 11 and 12, from 14:30 to 17:00, focusing on embedded systems, medicine, IoT and the automotive industry.

The automotive session will look into the latest issues around ADAS and autonomous driving; how best to integrate semiconductor solutions for safer mobility; and considerations for automotive sensors.

The medical session will ask questions around the issues of software security in the fast-changing world of medical devices; how they remain secure, safe and protected; and how the landscape of medical device security has altered since the onset of COVID-19.

The embedded forum will look at how to secure IoT edge devices; how threat modelling can increase security and how designed-in security is the only route to a secure embedded system.

Finally, the IoT session will look into the complexity of IoT systems and as such, security in depth is the way in which to secure them.
