ERGO-CASE XS - Comfortable to carry

A convex design to match the curves of the body is the characteristic feature of the ERGO-CASE range of enclosures. As „bodycases“, they make it possible for the user to wear them comfortably – whether on his arm, on his chest or round his waist. In order to do full justice to individual customer requirements, OKW has now extended the mobile enclosure range with a smaller version.

The new ERGO-CASE XS consists of three individual parts as standard - a top part, a bottom part and an intermediate ring made of soft TPE material. The ring in the colour volcano (NCS S 5502-G) gives the enclosure a pleasant touch sensation, serves as impact protection and is available in three different versions: with an eyelet for carrying around your neck with a lanyard, with two eyelets for the wrist, or without any eyelets at all, for universal use. As the name says, the XS version was designed to be particularly small, with dimensions of 80 x 56 x 22 mm (L x W x H). By analogy with the existing larger versions, and to continue the homogeneous design features of the range of enclosures, the ERGO-CASE is available in the two standard colours of offwhite (RAL 9002) and black (RAL 9005), made of ABS (UL 94 HB). The top part was give a convex, recessed surface for integrating membrane keyboards.

The possible applications for the ERGO-CASE XS are manifold, for example for mobile data acquisition and transmission in medical, laboratory and measuring technology, warehousing and sales logistics or also in digital control engineering. For applications close to the body, the range of accessories already includes the necessary belts, bracelets or collars, a wrist strap as well as a belt / pocket clip for securing enclosures from this range to the user‘s belt or shirt pocket.
