During electronica 2008, forums on specific themes gave specialists and the audience of trade visitors a suitable platform for discussing concrete user utility. The fair featured everything that promotes a productive, broad-based dialog between market players – company presentations, debates, product premieres and innovative system solutions.

Key growth sectors in the electronics industry were showcased in the forums: electronica automotive, electronica wireless, electronica embedded and electronica micronano-systems. They gave the first-rate audience of industry professionals a comprehensive overview and promoted focused dialog and the exchange of information with industry experts.

In addition, the established CEO Round Table as well as various lecture series and panel discussions on topics such as medical electronics, traceability – counterfeit products, Job Day and Finance Day were held at the electronica Forum.

A series of interesting lectures on hot topics that pertain to the industry were held at the ZVEI Forum on each day of the fair. Thanks to first-rate speakers and presentations on topics such as energy intelligence, traceability and the environment, the program of events was extremely diverse.

The e-Signage Forum was a new event at the 2008 fair that featured a product show and a Speakers' Corner with presentations from industry, research and application-oriented companies.
