Wireless Congress 2009: Systems & Applications – Latest trends

The Wireless Congress 2009: Systems & Applications was again the international platform aimed at developers, system designers, technology decision-makers, project managers and wireless system authorities. The congress illuminated all technical aspects of today's and tomorrow's wireless technologies, primarily for industrial use, and also offer insight into current applications, safety aspects, certification and qualification problems, test & measurement know-how, standards plus market opportunities. With 338 participants from 22 countries the Wireless Congress 2009: Systems & Applications allowed an intensive exchange of knowlege between wireless experts and proved its international importance again.

Focal themes of the half hour presentations were Bluetooth technology, wireless sensor and mobile networks, energy management, embedded wireless application, ZigBee Technology, M2M and automation systems and RFID Technology. Future technologies, application and market trends have been highlighted. Three technical tutorials concentrated on technology fundamentals and practical application scenarios ( RFID Basis, Security for mobile/ embedded Applications, Programming Wireless Applications).

The quality and uniqueness of the conference are backed by renowned experts recognized throughout the world, such as Anders Edlund (Marketing Director, Bluetooth Special Interest Group), Dale Ford (Dale Ford, Vice President, Market Intelligence Services, iSuppli) and Benno Ritter (VP Business Development and Marketing, ZigBee Alliance) , who with their know-how made the Wireless Congress 2009 the highlight of the wireless community.
